I can't import excel spreadsheets

In order for data to be imported correctly, we need to follow a template, in other words, we must follow a model prepared by our software engineers. So no need to import an Excel that you just downloaded from your bank. If you have tried to import a file into Mobills and still have not succeeded, this article is for you.

First you must prepare the file:

The spreadsheet must be filled out starting from cell A1. Insert each topic in each column: DATA (cell A1) | DESCRIPTION (cell B1) | VALUE (cell C1) | ACCOUNT (cell D1) | CATEGORY (cell E1).

The date must follow the "dd / mm / yyyy" model and must be in text format. Be careful not to change the order or format it in any other way;

The description can be chosen as you wish, but avoid inserting long texts;

For incomes, amounts must be positive (no sign required). Ex .: Income: | 150.00 |;

For expenses, the values must be negative. Example Expense: | -150.00 |;

For credit card entries, only expenses are accepted. Chargebacks must be removed from the spreadsheet and manually inserted into the platform;

Use points only to separate the cents. Ex .: -1000.02;

If it is a number without decimal places, do not put a period or a comma to not give an error. Ex .: If you are going to register an expense of $25.00 dollars, use -25;

It is important that there are no formulas. So make sure that there are no formulas in your spreadsheet.

Fill in the information correctly following the guidelines mentioned above;

Make sure that the date column is in plain text format. When in doubt, select the column >> Click Format >> Number >> Plain text;

Then you can download the file. click in File >> Download >> Microsoft Excel (.xlsx).

I can't import spreadsheets into excel on iOS

First, prepare the file and save it on your device;

In Mobills, go to More > Section [Manage] > Import data;

Select the option [Transactions] or [Card Expenses];

Select the [Import XLS] option. You can download the model from XLS or press Import file;

After loading the data, click on the three dots in the upper right corner > Import.
