Tags can be added to your transactions. Like the categories, they can be used to group your transactions, but they are more flexible, as several tags can be linked to a single expense or income.
Let's say that you have a "Food" category. In it, you'll register all your expenses with food, but then you want to know how much you spend only on lunch on weekdays. When you register a lunch expense, in addition to the "Food" category, you'll add the "lunch" tag and the "weekdays" tag.
That way, it'll be easy for you to find out how much you spent on lunches during the weekdays, for that, just filter your transactions by the tags you want.

How to create and use tags
On the dashboard, tap More options > Manage > Tags
Tap the search field, type a new tag, and tap on it, done!

When recording a transaction, tap on Tags > Select the desired tag;
With the tag selected, tap Done and Save.
